THE STORY

Why this exists.

Skerva started because the same problem kept showing up across every local service business we looked at — and every existing tool ignored it.

Look at any HVAC, plumbing, roofing, or electrical business doing $500K to $5M a year and you'll find the same pattern. A great owner. A great crew. A real ad budget. And a phone that rings during jobs — with nobody to pick it up.

The leads were there. The marketing worked. But somewhere between "lead generated" and "job booked," 30–40% of the opportunities were disappearing into voicemail, slow follow-up, forgotten estimates, and no-show appointments.

Every existing tool we looked at solved the wrong half. CRMs stored data. Marketing platforms generated leads. Phone systems answered calls. But nothing actually converted the lead into a booked job at the operational level — with the right script at the right second, the right follow-up cadence, the right calendar handoff.

So we built Skerva.

Operator interviews

Every kit starts with 5–10 interviews with operators who already solved the leak — usually owners doing $1M–$5M a year. We capture their actual scripts, response times, SLA failures, and what they wish they'd done sooner.

02 · SYNTHESIS

Pattern extraction

We pull out the operational patterns that work across multiple businesses. Industry-specific copy stays industry-specific. Universal patterns (timing, qualifying questions, escalation) get codified into the SOP.

03 · BUILD

Productize the system

The kit gets built as SMS scripts, voicemail prompts, automation logic, calendar handoffs, and a written install guide. Tested in a live operator's stack before publish. Refined until install time is under one weekend.

04 · GUARANTEE

14-day refund test

If a kit doesn't earn its keep in the first 14 days of installation, the customer gets every dollar back and keeps the SOPs. Refund rate is our north-star quality metric — if it climbs, we go back to step 1.
