Does this replace my receptionist?

Only if you want it to. Most owners use Skerva as the after-hours and overflow layer — the AI picks up when humans can't (jobs, lunch, evenings, weekends). If you don't have a receptionist, the AI runs the full inbound line. Either way, you still own the calls that matter.

Can it book directly on my calendar?

Yes. We connect to your existing calendar (Google, Outlook, Cal.com, or your service calendar) and the AI offers real, available time slots. Bookings drop straight into your calendar with the customer's name, address, job type, and call summary attached.

What happens if the AI doesn't know the answer?

It does one of two things. For urgent issues (no heat, active leak, sparks), it routes the call to your on-call line within 30 seconds. For anything else, it captures the question, books a callback slot, and texts you the transcript so you can respond on your time. It will not invent pricing, make technical promises, or guess.

Can I review calls?

Every call. Each has a recording, a transcript, and a one-line summary. You can review them from your inbox, Slack, or existing job system. Anything the AI booked, you can override or reschedule with one tap.

Does this work after hours?

That's where it earns its keep. Nights, weekends, holidays — the AI picks up the same way it does at noon on Tuesday. Many operators start with after-hours coverage first and add daytime overflow once they see the bookings come in.

Can it connect to my existing tools?

Yes. Skerva connects to GoHighLevel, Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Twilio, Zapier, calendars, inboxes, and most service-business tools. We don't replace your job system — we add the lead conversion layer around it.

How fast can this be set up?

Most simple installs can be configured in one setup call — typically a 30–45 minute Zoom where we connect your phone, calendar, and SMS, and test the missed-call recovery live. More complex installs (multi-line phone systems, custom workflow routing, or multi-location handoffs) usually take 1–2 business days to configure and validate. We'll give you a realistic timeline on the audit call before anything is signed.

Do I need to change my phone number?

No. Skerva routes through your existing line via a forwarding setup. Your customers still call the number printed on your truck. The AI picks up on missed calls and overflow, then drops summary + booking details back into your system.

What if I already have a CRM?

Then Skerva connects to it. We're not a CRM and don't want to be. We're the conversion layer that feeds clean, qualified, booked leads into the CRM you already use. If you don't have one, we can recommend a lightweight setup.

Is this only for HVAC?

No. It's built for any local service business with inbound calls and appointment-based pricing — HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, salons, med spas, auto detailers, dental, general contractors. The scripts and qualifying questions are calibrated per industry at install.

How small is too small?

If you're a solo operator running everything from your truck and getting 5+ inbound leads a week, Skerva pays for itself in the first recovered job. If you're 0–3 calls a week, focus on lead generation first — call us back when the phones start ringing.

Can it handle multiple locations?

Yes. Multi-location setups route calls to the nearest location based on the caller's address, and bookings drop into the right calendar. We've done up to 12 locations on a single Skerva install.

How much does it cost?

Is there a monthly fee?

Only if you want the Skerva Monitor dashboard ($97/mo) that tracks recovered revenue, response times, and ROI in one place. The kits and DFY installs are one-time. No contracts.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes — 14-day refund on every digital kit and the Owner Bundle. DFY installs are refundable if we can't deliver what the audit promised. See /refund.
